Holmes & Associates sponsored the 7th Annual "Rally for Families" fundraisers. The tennis and golf tournaments benefit the Building Families Fund and took place, Saturday, August 11 at Kossover Tennis Center, and Monday, August 13 at Shawnee Country Club. The Building Families Fund, through the Topeka Community Foundation, assists families with the financial costs of adopting a child or sibling group. Since 2000, nearly $175,000 has been awarded to more than 60 families. To further adoption awareness and its many benefits, Holmes & Associates hosted an adoption seminar, entitled:
